Frequently Asked Questions

  • What services do you offer? I offer a wide range of DJ services, including music for weddings, corporate events, parties, and more. I can provide sound systems, lighting, and MC or Karaoke services.

  • What areas do you serve? East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent. Out of area jobs will be considered at additional cost.

  • Why are your prices so low? My pricing is based on what I feel is fair for both parties with no corners cut on quality. Having been married myself and finding some of the extortionate quotes that some companies charge I felt the duty to provide a direct service to my clients, with no additional staff to pay, no 'middle man or agent' and minimal overheads. Please check the other pages on this site for fixed priced packages or contact me for a personalised quote.

  • Do you have insurance? Yes, I carry general public liability insurance to protect both you and me for up to £10 million.

Booking and Planning

  • How far in advance should I book? I recommend booking as far in advance as possible, especially for peak seasons like Summer and Xmas. Popular dates can book up quickly. Weddings tend to get booked a year in advance.

  • What information do you need to create a customised playlist? Upon booking with me, I will send you a questionnaire to get an idea of your preferred music genres, specific song requests, and any special requests or themes for your event.

  • Can I provide my own music? Yes, you can provide your own music in digital format (MP3, WAV, etc.). or send over a link to a digital playlist such as Spotify.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule my event? Please contact me as soon as possible to discuss cancellation or rescheduling options. I will work with you to find a solution that works for both of us.

  • Can we meet before the event? Of course, I will contact you initially via email or phone and then encourage to meet up in person for weddings, normally about a month before the big day. I also offer Zoom calls or Facetime too.

Event Day

  • What equipment do you bring? I bring professional-grade sound equipment (QSC, Pioneer, Shure), including speakers, mixers, and microphones. I also provide professional lighting equipment to enhance the atmosphere of your event. I also carry a full inventory of back-up equipment to ensure the smooth running of the event day.

  • How long before the event do you arrive? I typically arrive 1-2 hours before the start of your event to set up and test the equipment.

  • What if the DJ can't make it? I have a large network of backup DJs and on that rare occasion, if needed, I would find a Like for Like replacement at no extra cost to yourselves. 

  • Can you handle special requests, like live music or karaoke? Yes, I can accommodate special requests like live music or karaoke. Please let us know your specific needs in advance so I can prepare accordingly.
